SRS Medical Systems is seeking a motivated Clinical Support Specialist to join our growing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) will be an SRS product expert, and a benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) Care Pathway expert. The CSS will also be a UroCuff test implementation specialist responsible for running clinical tests (Urocuff and EP1) in targeted urology practices within a defined geography. The CSS will establish themselves as a key clinical partner within assigned urology practices. The focus of the CSS role is implementation of agreed upon BPH pathways within assigned urology client offices and provide continued training and support of clinical staff, administrators and physicians on procedures, products and results interpretation. In a select few offices this role will also be responsible for implementing previously scheduled UroCuff/EP1 tests as well as the administrative tasks in support of the test. The focus here will be implementation of the test as requested by the practice, typically a full day of patient and staff interaction.
Success will be measured by the achievement of specific objectives appropriate for the territory such as the number of urologic practice trainings completed, execution of a specific number of clinical testing days or completion of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) BPH training sessions during the quarter. The CSS is also responsible for developing key internal relationships within SRS customer service and clinical education staff, as well as the sales and marketing leadership teams. The CSS will actively participate in and contribute to regional and national meetings and team calls to share on-site clinical experiences and be an active participant in improving the CSS field execution strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the urology practices BPH protocol.
- Become an SRS product and clinical expert and a highly effective clinical trainer.
- Establish key partner relationships with clients’ BPH support and/or clinical staff, including physicians, APP’s, nurses, medical assistants, navigators and front office personnel.
- Lead patient education campaigns in client offices.
- Implement clinical testing days in predetermined offices and perform UroCuff and EP1 (non-invasive pressure flow tests) in a clinical setting, which will include the following:
- Prepare patients for their UroCuff test in a professional and caring manner.
- Conduct UroCuff and EP1 tests according to established protocols.
- Operate UroCuff and EP1 equipment, ensuring proper function and adherence to instructions for use.
- Document results accurately and transmit findings to supervising physician or clinical staff.
- Educate patients about the testing process, answer their questions and help them feel at ease throughout the procedure.
- Ensure test results are accurately processed and shared throughout the client’s standard documentation channels.
- Collaborate with the clinical and sales teams to support training efforts as needed.
- Assist with scheduling, administrative tasks, and reporting as required.
- Perform customer clinical reviews when appropriate. Leverage procedure data from our systems demonstrating product and clinical use of SRS technologies with physicians and key clinical staff.
- Maintain a current and accurate database of physician/staff and practice details and activities.
- Communicate with sales and marketing, sharing insights and knowledge that will help the company perform at a high level.

- Take an active role in the development and improvement of the CSS role to enhance customer experience and more efficiently implement SRS technologies and pathways.
Education and Work Experience
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (advanced education in related area of study preferred)
- Two years’ experience working in or selling into a clinical office environment OR completion of a medical sales or clinical training program
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical licensure preferred
Experience
- Demonstrated ability to train others including physicians, nurses and patients.
- Clinically knowledgeable, possesses knowledge of medications, devices, urologic diagnostics and procedures.

Physical Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation and an ability to travel within the defined geography on a daily basis

- Educating physicians and staff on the intricacies of SRS products prior to and during procedures.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Compensation Plan
This position will be compensated with a combination of a base salary, bonus and car allowance. Total compensation in the range of $93k-$100k is commensurate with background and experience.
