Job summary

ESRHS is seeking a Clinical Support Radiologic Technologist in Onancock, VA to operate x-ray equipment, capture high-quality radiographic images, and transfer images for timely results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Requires Virginia licensure or radiologic training under a board-certified radiologist, ARRT registry eligibility, and strong teamwork, communication, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be licensed in Virginia as Radiologic Technologist or have radiological training under supervision for 1 year and eligible for VA licensure.
• Must have completed Radiologic Technology training and be able to meet ARRT registry requirements.
• Must have good spatial perception and dexterity to operate x-ray equipment and adjust controls.
• Energetic, flexible and self-motivated with strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork and computer skills.

Description

The Clinical Support, Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality patient focused care through supporting ESRHS’s mission with the operation of x-ray equipment and effective capture of radiographic images, transfer of images, and timely receipt of results while ensuring patient safety. Assists with patient notification of results.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a licensed in the state of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist or have radiological training in a hospital under the supervision of a board-certified radiologist for a minimum of 1 year and eligible for a licensure in the state of Virginia.
• Must have satisfactorily completed Radiological Technology training in an approved school with the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
• Must have good spatial perception to visualize inner structure of human body in relation to x-ray tube and manual dexterity to adjust machine controls, arrange, attach and adjust support devices.
• Must be energetic, flexible and self-motivated with strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and computer skills.
