Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with the health care team and prepare patients for examinations or treatment.
• Gather information (reason for visit, vital signs, etc.) and document findings in the EMR.
• Collect and assist with specimen collection per clinic protocol.
• Maintain infection control standards and proper PPE usage.
• Assist with procedures following universal protocol and patient identification.
• Keep examination rooms orderly, stock supplies, and maintain logs.
• Communicate with patients in person and by telephone to gather data.
