Job summary

This role requires a High School Diploma with CNA and Medication Aide certifications and at least one year of CNA experience; EHR experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; active CNA and Medication Aide certifications.
• Minimum of one year of CNA/Medication Aide experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical settings helpful.
• Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
• Strong planning, organizing and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with the health care team and assist with examinations.
• Prepare patients for visits, collect reason for visit and vital signs.
• Document findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collect and/or assist with specimen collection following protocols.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient privacy.
• Assist with procedures and examinations per protocols; ensure room readiness.
• Communicate with patients by phone and in person to gather data.
