Job summary

Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, part of Banyan Treatment Centers, is hiring in Lake Worth, Florida. Clinical Support Staff (Per-diem) is an on-site, part-time role with compensation of $25–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field.
• Master's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services field (preferred).
• Active California APCC, ACSW, or AMFT (preferred).
• CADC or SUDDC (preferred).
• Experience in behavioral or mental health treatment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, with prepared patient issue summaries.
• Complete baseline clinical assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations.
• Conduct therapeutic groups.
• Assist Therapists and Case Managers as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Cover client caseload in the absence of primary Therapists.
• Assist Therapists with familial communication and documentation.
• Help clients manage outside stressors.
• Maintain clinical records according to program policies and licensing requirements.
• Assist Therapists and Case Managers with discharge planning.

• Complete baseline clinical assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations.
• Conduct therapeutic groups.
• Assist Therapists and Case Managers as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Cover client caseload in the absence of primary Therapists.
• Assist Therapists with familial communication and documentation.
• Help clients manage outside stressors.
• Maintain clinical records according to program policies and licensing/accrediting agency requirements.
• Assist Therapists and Case Managers with discharge planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field.

Preferences

• Work experience in behavioral or mental health treatment.

Abilities and Skills

• Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics and familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding client confidentiality.

• Skill in crisis intervention, including de-escalation and suicide risk assessment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
