Job summary

Midwest Health is seeking a Clinical Support RN to serve as a primary clinical responder and escalation resource, providing real-time guidance, clinical decision-making, and care coordination to support communities and residents in need.

This role collaborates with Executive Directors and RCCs to manage real-time guidance, document in EMR, and assist with complex clinical situations while advising on appropriate levels of care and communicating with physicians, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse with a compact/multistate license is required.
• Experience in clinical support or RN-level guidance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time guidance as part of quality assurance and respond to calls and alerts.
• Manage and document complex clinical situations (falls, change in condition, behaviors).
• Advise on appropriate level of care and resident interventions.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff.
• Document interactions in EMR or other software.
• Review and educate on sentinel events and participate in QAPI.

• Review, assess, educate, and provide guidance on senital events and participate in the QAPI program

This person have a compact/multistate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
