The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (S) to support health services at the Raeford location, reporting to the Regional ADON and assisting with audits and compliance.

You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, perform wound care, administer medications, and help maintain documentation while contributing to safety and quality in care delivery.

Formación

• Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in North Carolina.
• Experience with ACA accreditation is preferred.
• Documented clinical auditing and health care compliance reporting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite LPN care under RN supervision, including screening and assessments.
• Support ACA accreditation efforts and healthcare compliance audits.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain facility records.
• Deliver basic wound care and routine respiratory therapies.
• Collect vital signs and administer medications.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist RNs/Physicians as needed.
