Qualifications

• Education: High school Graduate or GED required.
• Experience: 2 years in healthcare and 1 year clerical experience required; orthopedic/surgical exposure a plus.
• Certification: must be able to sit for and pass A-BROE certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists with answering heavy call volume for multiple multi-specialty providers and responds accordingly to the caller's needs which may include calling in prescriptions, pre and post surgical questions, orders, etc.
• Assists with preparing charts for clinic, scheduling tests, referrals, disability forms, coding and other duties as assigned
• Assists physician in clinic with patient care as needed
• Helds post‑op follow‑up support for physicians
