Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a part-time Nurse Resource Pool member to support patient care and clerical duties in the 7a-7p shift on Saturdays and Sundays, located in Little Rock, AR. The role includes basic patient care, vital signs, and chart maintenance, with coordination with licensed staff.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; related healthcare experience (1 year) or completion of healthcare curriculum is recommended; CNA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Related Field - 1 year of experience.
• Technicians - 1 year of experience.
• AC employee with clinical experience or completion of a semester of healthcare curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Completes and documents patient care in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
• Recognizes and reports changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency situations and reacts appropriately.
• Maintains patient chart/record.
• Performs clerical/receptionist/support services duties.
• Ensures an appropriate level of forms, supplies and equipment.
• Practices cost effective use of supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
