Job summary

ARKANSAS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL is seeking an Inpatient Medical Surgical unit administrative support staff member for part-time days. The role provides clerical support for all employees within the unit and maintains patients' records.

It includes handling forms, supplies, and equipment to ensure smooth unit operations. The position requires 2 years of relevant experience; however, a high school diploma or GED can substitute for some experience.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements for this role.
• 2 years of relevant experience; a HS Diploma or GED may substitute for 2 years of work experience.
• Maintains patient chart/record and supports unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient chart/record on the unit.
• Performs clerical/receptionist/support services duties.
• Ensures forms, supplies and equipment are adequate for the unit.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency situations and reacts appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
