Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking dedicated staff to manage the distribution of medical supplies and linens across hospital departments. The role ensures items are identified, stored, and replenished to support patient care, with attention to accurate counts and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include processing STAT requests, using handheld technologies, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Travel between sites is possible within the Freestanding Emergency Department Network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions and computer skills.
• Understand financial impacts as it relates to supply chain functions.
• Able to work in a moderately paced, ever changing environment.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written.
• One to three months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Breakdown/staging of unit specific product per designated schedule.
• Validate correct product/quantity via pack slips.
• Deliver and replenish supplies, linens, and equipment to designated areas.
• Complete STAT orders per requester timeline and communicated response.
• Use powered/manual material handling devices for safe movement.
• Place unit/location specific orders with handheld technology and inventory methodology.
