Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a dedicated Supply and Distribution team member to support daily operations, ensuring timely distribution of medical supplies, linens, and equipment to clinical areas. You will work with handheld technology to place orders and monitor inventory to prevent shortages.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining accuracy and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions and computer skills.
• Understand the financial impacts as it relates to supply chain functions.
• Able to work in a moderately paced, ever changing environment.
• Must communicate clearly, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Breakdown/staging of unit specific product per schedule.
• Validate correct product/quantity received via pack slips, deliver and replenish supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Complete STAT orders within the requester timeline.
• Use powered and/or manual material handling devices for safe movement of supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Place unit/location specific orders with handheld technology and predetermined inventory methodology.
• Travel between sites when working in the Freestanding Emergency Department Network.
• Report errors and discrepancies through appropriate chain of command.
• Responsible for product rotation and expiration date management.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow cleaning schedules.
• All other duties as assigned.
