Job summary

Viking Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator to support day-to-day clinical supply activities, including GMP inventory tracking, labeling, packaging coordination, shipment monitoring, and documentation control.

The role collaborates with QA, Manufacturing, Clinical Operations, and external vendors to maintain audit-ready records and ensure timely, compliant flow of clinical trial materials from development through late-stage trials.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or clinical operations; internship or co-op in pharma/biotech is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP/GDP concepts is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinical supply activities across active studies.
• Track inventory levels, expiry dates, and resupply needs; flag shortages or risks.
• Prepare supply forecasts, shipment schedules, and status reports.
• Coordinate labeling, packaging configurations, and distribution documentation.
• Maintain traceability records for investigational materials and ensure audit readiness.
• Assist in monitoring IRT/RTSM systems and depot allocations.
