Job summary

The Bronx County District Attorney’s Office (BXDA) seeks an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead and supervise the Therapy program within the Crime Victims Assistance Bureau. The role focuses on survivors affected by crime, providing supervision to therapists and interns, ensuring quality documentation, and delivering trauma-informed services.

Qualifications

• Must have three years post licensure experience (LCSW) in crisis intervention and psychotherapy.
• Clinical supervision is highly preferred.
• Experience in trauma-informed therapy and intervention is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Clinical Services with oversight of the Therapy program.
• Conduct weekly supervision sessions with Clinical Staff and interns.
• Assist with the Internship of student Social Workers.
• Provide individual, group, and family interventions for survivors of crime.
• Conduct outreach for referred, walk-in, and crisis clients.
• Manage a therapy caseload for individuals 16+.
• Maintain chart documentation and make referrals.
• Prepare weekly activity reports for the Director of Clinical Services.
• Ensure accurate documentation by supervised staff.
• Lead QA reviews of therapists’ documentation.
• Collaborate with advocate staff to provide support services.
• Foster relationships with legal and CVAB staff.
• Coordinate therapeutic activities, community events, and trainings.
