Job summary

The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) in Washington, DC seeks an experienced RN Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and service delivery. This role ensures care is delivered competently and efficiently, aligning with unit and hospital goals.

With a BSN and DC RN license, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, mentor staff, and drive process improvements through shared governance and real-time feedback.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Member of professional practice organization pertinent to area of practice preferred.
• 1 year charge nurse experience preferred.
• 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• BSN required.
• Member of professional practice organization pertinent to area of practice preferred

Experience:

• 1 year charge nurse experience preferred
• Professional experience that demonstrates ability to understand the clinical practice environment. 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred
