Mercy Hospital Southeast seeks a Clinical Supervisor to assure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient resource use. You will lead staffing, collaborate with physicians and administrative staff, and drive process improvements across units to meet productivity and service standards.

The role emphasizes mentorship, accountability, and adherence to Mercy Mission and Values, with involvement in evaluation processes with Clinical Manager.

Qualifications

• RN license with Board of Nursing in applicable state.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• TNCC/ACLS/ENPC or PALS certifications preferred/required within probation period.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Collaborate with Staffing Office on patient flow and bed management.
• Model professional standards and lead change initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to direct patient care staff.
• Ensure adherence to policy, regulatory guidelines and Mercy Service Standards.

Hours/Schedule

Full-Time (40-hrs per week)

Education

Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.

Licensure

Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.

Experience

3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.

Certification/Registration

Must have Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period. TNCC, ACLS/ALS and ENPC or PALS.

Skills, knowledge and abilities

Demonstrates skills in human relations and communication, written verbal, and electronic. Demonstrates clinical competence in patient care delivery. Possesses the ability to assess data and assist personnel in providing appropriate level of care. Performs responsibilities while fulfilling the Philosophy of skills, knowledge and abilities.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
