Job summary

McKinley Youth Family and Community is hiring a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical staff, ensure quality of care, and support professional development within a trauma-informed integrated care framework.

You will supervise Mental Health Clinicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with QA to maintain documentation standards across multiple sites in Riverside, CA. The role requires a Master’s degree and several years in DMH settings with licensure.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree; minimum 5 years of experience in DMH contracted mental health settings.
• 2 years post BBS licensure.
• 2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Mental Health Clinicians are in full regulatory compliance and clinical services meet best practices.
• Provide individual and group supervision for Mental Health Clinicians per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Compliance to ensure documentation compliance.
• Work with Department supervisors to improve communication and mutual support between programs.
• Monitor programs to ensure adherence to governing bodies and standards.
• Review care records to ensure proper treatment documentation is included.

Education / Experience Required

Masters DegreeMinimum of 5 years of experience working in DMH contracted mental health settings2 years post BBS licensure2 years of supervisory experience preferred

Description of Duties

• Ensure that the Mental Health Clinicians are in full regulatory compliance and that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices
• Provide individual and group supervision for Mental Health Clinicians in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards and agency policy
• Provide collaboration with Quality Assurance and Compliance Team Members to ensure documentation compliance
• Work with other Department supervisorsmanagers to increase clear communication and mutual support between programs
• Monitor and assure adherence of programs to all governing bodies
• Monitor care records to assure that required treatment documentation is included and meets agency and professional standards
• Monitor and review all agency protocols and practices
• Assist Clinicians in developing treatment plans which ensure quality services and are sensitive to cultural issues
• Provide crisis intervention as required
• Remain on call for clinical emergencies
• Other related duties as assigned
