Job summary

McKinley Children's Center in Riverside, CA is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical functions, support staff development, and ensure adherence to agency policies. The role emphasizes quality of care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise Mental Health Clinicians, collaborate with QA, participate in program oversight, and respond to clinical emergencies. A Master’s degree, DMH experience, and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DMH-contracted mental health settings.
• 2 years post BBS licensure.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care across clinical services.
• Provide individual and group supervision for Mental Health Clinicians.
• Collaborate with QA and Compliance to ensure documentation standards.
• Work with department supervisors to improve communication and mutual support.
• Monitor program adherence to governing bodies and ensure proper treatment documentation.
• Assist clinicians in developing culturally sensitive treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention as required and remain on call for emergencies.
• Other related duties as assigned.

The Position:

We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor, who is willing to embrace McKinley’s mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical functions of staff to ensure quality of care to clients, the professional development of clinicians, and the adherence to agency policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $93,170 - $114,795 annually depending (Based) on experience.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Master's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in DMH-contracted mental health settings
• 2 years post BBS licensure
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred

PHYSICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
• Ability to commute to various sites on and off campus
• Ability to work extended hours as needed

CLEARANCES REQUIRED:

• DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
• Insurability under Corporate Automobile Insurance

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Ensure that the Mental Health Clinicians are in full regulatory compliance and that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices
• Provide individual and group supervision for Mental Health Clinicians in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards and agency policy
• Provide collaboration with Quality Assurance and Compliance Team Members to ensure documentation compliance.
• Work with other Department supervisors/managersto increase clear communication and mutual support between programs
• Monitor and assure adherence of programs to all governing bodies
• Monitor care records to assure that required treatment documentation is included and meets agency and professional standards
• Monitor and review all agency protocols and practices
• Assist Clinicians in developing treatment plans which ensure quality services and are sensitive to cultural issues.
• Provide crisis intervention as required.
• Remain on call for clinical emergencies.
• Other related duties as assigned.
