Job summary

Catholic Charities of Long Island is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative supervision in a 24-hour Residential Stabilization Program licensed by OASAS for adults. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating admissions, and liaising with social services.

Requirements include a CASAC and at least 5 years in chemical dependence treatment with some supervisory experience. Schedule is 35 hours per week, 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $35

Qualifications

• HS/GED and CASAC required.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degrees preferred with CASAC.
• Clinical Supervision Training 1 and 2.
• At least 5 years' experience in the chemical dependence treatment field that includes some supervisory experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor staff work performance.
• Provide oversight of work assignments and training for interns, volunteers and new staff.
• Oversee process of collecting and recording all clinical data. Review for accuracy and correct as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate all admissions, discharges and the transportation of clients.
• Act as liaison for clients with rehabilitation centers and with various social agencies.
• Consult with family members, advocates, and healthcare providers to provide information and answers to questions regarding clients.
• Attend monthly staff meetings, in house training sessions and other meetings as required.
• Complete on call responsibilities during non-scheduled hours to ensure support for clinical staff.
