Clinical Operations Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Clinical
JOB TYPE: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday - Overnight
REPORTS TO: Clinical Manager
SUMMARY: Founded in 2014, Zywie Healthcare is a cardiac monitoring company. We record and transmit patients’ EKGs through Holter monitor, event monitor, & mobile cardiac telemetry monitors. We are a trendsetter in the industry by putting doctors’ offices and hospitals in complete control of their cardiac monitoring. As an organization on the cutting-edge of medical science, we plan to expand beyond the confines of a cardiac device company to become the gold standard for patient care. We want you to help us make this a reality. We currently have an opening for a Clinical Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Clinical Operations Supervisor will be a shift leader managing the shift of all clinical technicians. This role will be responsible for monitoring daily performance-providing guidance, support, and recognition to their direct reports.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day staff supervision
- Assist to coordinate employee disciplinary process and follow through to resolution
- Conduct performance reviews for staff
- Facilitate and assist with the ongoing development of clinical staff to ensure Zywie’s performance standards are met
- Manage scheduling and performance for Clinical Department employees
- Identify operational improvements/efficiencies and participate in interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Develop, mentor, and coach team members, and contribute to the implementation and reinforcement of policies, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with other leaders to ensure effective team performance
- Work within the Clinical Department to monitor key performance indicators and uphold high-quality standards within a collaborative work environment
- Contribute to the strategic management, planning, and leadership of the company
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the Standard Operations Policy and Procedure Manual and Work instruction
- Function as a liaison between sales and physician practice
- Assist in reviewing and making recommendations for improvement and enhancement of current services and development of new services
- Partner with other departments to ensure organizational goals are created to pursue the mission and vision of the organization.
- Coordinate with the Clinical Training and Development Team on continuing education for existing staff and new hires
- Adherence to HIPAA Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices
- Assist with all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: CRAT and/or CCT certification
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory with direct reports experience
- Minimum 3 years of ECG analysis experience
- Minimum 1 year software application experience
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player
- Strong customer service skills
- High stress tolerance
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of medical terminology specific to cardiac/cardiology
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a potentially high stress environment
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be in good standing
Knowledge – Technical Skills
- Knowledge of EKG monitoring/interpretation and Event/MCT recorders
- Able to utilize or learn computer applications in job
- Knowledge of customer service, especially telephone skills and medical documentation concepts
- Customer service experience is highly encouraged
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)
- Proficiency in Windows Operating system
- Demonstrates effective communication skills
- Demonstrate strong customer service, positive attitude, and team player
