Job summary

Rising Ground in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Clinician specializing in IPV to join the Clinical Support Program embedded in child protective work. The role provides direct clinical services to families referred to CPS and collaborates with ACS staff and families to connect to supports.

The position requires regular in-person presence at an ACS field office in Brooklyn and may involve travel to other Rising Ground sites or community visits.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Clinical License (LMSW, LMFC, LCAT, LMHC).
• Experience working with families affected by IPV.
• Familiarity with Evidence Based Models and assessment measures.
• Commitment to healing-centered, family-driven, anti-oppressive practice.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing demands.
• Creative problem-solver with collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with Connections.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical work to families referred to CPS, including assessment of needs.
• Actively participate in planning conferences as IPV expert.
• Ensure referrals are individualized and tailored, working with Access and Referral Department.
• Ensure warm handoffs occur in making referrals.
• Facilitate trainings for the clinical team and the ACS CPS team.
• Participate in all relevant internal and external meetings.
• Provide after hour coverage for consultation, as needed.
• Other duties as required.
