$46,000.00/yr - $77,000.00/yr

One of our client is seeking for a Clinical Supervisor

Type: Perm

Location: Phoenixville, PA

General Description Of Position

The Clinical Supervisor has responsibility for the clinical oversight of his/her designated clinical staff and/or designated shift, as well as providing direct cares services to the extent determined by the program Coordinator.

This position has a part-time clinical supervisory function.

Formal administrative duties and supervision remain the responsibility of the program Coordinator.

Primary Job Function(s)

The above Competencies are met and measured through the following job functions:

  • Possess knowledge of and the ability to follow agency policies and procedures to carry out the care and treatment of clients and the supervision of other staff.
  • Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures.
  • Provide routine, quality clinical supervision and consultation to program staff.
  • Possess knowledge of the agency's primary software systems.
  • Effectively use Word, Excel, Clinician's Desktop and Groupwise
  • Maintain effective and efficient communication with direct supervisor.
  • Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor.
  • Train program staff to effectively conduct their clinical work responsibilities
  • Orient new program staff to the agency policy and procedures, the program's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and licensure/regulatory/contractual demands of the program's clinical

services.

  • Possess knowledge of staff performance evaluation processes and ability to document staff compliance with requisite performance standards.
  • Provide comprehensive, objective feedback to the program Coordinator regarding the quality of the services offered by employees under his/her supervision as part of 90-day evaluations, annual evaluation or as otherwise needed.
  • Maintain personal compliance with all training requirements and personnel documentation standards.
  • Complete all personally required trainings as per Professional Development Plan or as per contractual requirements with agency payers.

Secondary Function(s)

  • Participate in trainings.
  • Conduct chart reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Experience and/or Education:

  • Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline.
  • Two years post-degree experience in the behavioral health field, or one year of supervisory experience, or equivalent relevant training.
  • Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred.

Required Clearances

  • Pennsylvania Act 33 clearance
  • Pennsylvania Act 34 clearance
  • Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion List
