Job summary

The Harbor Light in Detroit seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead all clinical staff and oversee services. You will direct clinical operations, supervise staff, maintain records, and ensure program goals are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating with community partners, monitoring admissions and discharges, ensuring compliance with policies, and representing the program in community engagements. Candidates should have at least two years in supervision and relevant licensure/certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical supervision or lead therapist experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years working in substance abuse or mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction and leadership to all personnel.
• Assure timely, accurate recording keeping and monitor records.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate program activities.
• Monitor admissions, authorizations, and discharges.
• Coordinate services with community and health care agencies for continuum of care.
• Respond to program emergencies per Harbor Light policies.
• Supervise and schedule clinical personnel as directed.
• Maintain documentation regarding supervised staff.
• Verify and approve hours and report to payroll.
• Recommend hiring and firing of clinical personnel.
• Review admission and discharge surveys.
• Represent Harbor Light in community functions and committees.
• Provide day-to-day operations in the absence of Site Administrator.
• Conduct staff meetings, supervision, fidelity checks and case conferences.
• Participate in Detroit QI and system-wide meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
