Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor supports administrative functions of the department and collaborates with the unit Director and/or Manager. In their absence, may assume administrative responsibilities. Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement and compliance with regulations. Oversees orientation and training, communicates with staff, physicians, and administration, and is accountable for staff and functions during their shift. Assists in daily operations, supervises personnel, ensures proper use of resources, and performs direct patient care as needed within scope of practice. Continually assesses care and directs staff to make immediate changes as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current
  • Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained current
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • RN-C certification within 2 years of hire preferred
  • PALS certification within 30 days of hire for units admitting pediatric patients
Compensation & Benefits

St. Mary's Hospital offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, 401K, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits. The estimated total compensation range is $36.75 to $55.70 per hour, determined at hire based on experience, education, and credentials.
