Job Overview
The Clinical Supervisor is a Registered Nurse (RN) working under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services and the Executive Director. The role involves managing clinical operations at the branch level, overseeing staff, ensuring quality and efficiency of home health services, and maintaining compliance with policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the management of clinical operations, including staff supervision and performance.
- Ensure delivery of quality home health care services in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in patient, caregiver, and family education and counseling.
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare practitioners regarding patient care plans.
- Contribute to the agency's QAPI program and participate in interdisciplinary patient assessments.
- Develop, review, and revise care plans in collaboration with patients and caregivers.
- Perform field visits and provide skilled nursing care as needed.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the practicing state(s).
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Extensive experience in nursing, preferably in Home Health.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Kinnser/WellSky.
- Experience in clinical management, supervision, and mentoring.
- Knowledge of Medicare, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to be on call.
- Travel may be required.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, with graduation from an approved nursing school.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Work primarily indoors at the agency office and travel to patient homes.
- Moderate physical effort, including lifting and transferring patients.
- Must meet health and safety requirements, including TB testing.
- Exposure to environmental elements and biological hazards.
Schedule and Compensation
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Salary, PTO, holidays, cell phone and mileage reimbursement or company vehicle.
