Job summary

McKinley Children's Center is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical staff, ensure quality of care, and support clinicians’ professional development. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, collaboration with QA, and maintaining high standards of service.

The position requires a Master’s degree and licensure readiness, with preferred supervisory experience and ability to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DMH-contracted mental health settings.
  • 2 years post BBS licensure is required.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening.
  • Ability to commute to various sites on and off campus.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index required.
  • Insurability under Corporate Automobile Insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Mental Health Clinicians are in full regulatory compliance and that clinical services are delivered according to best practices.
  • Provide individual and group supervision for Mental Health Clinicians.
  • Serve as floater supervisor to maintain continuity of services and operations.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Compliance to ensure documentation compliance and address risks.
  • Work with Department supervisors to improve communication and mutual support between programs.
  • Monitor care records to ensure complete and compliant documentation.
  • Assist clinicians in developing culturally sensitive treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention as required.

The Position:

We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor, who is willing to embrace McKinley's mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical functions of staff to ensure quality of care to clients, the professional development of clinicians, and the adherence to agency policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $93,170.00 - $94,350.00 annually depending (Based) on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the Mental Health Clinicians are in full regulatory compliance and that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices
  • Provide individual and group supervision for Mental Health Clinicians in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards and agency policy
  • Serve as a floater supervisor as assigned, providing interim supervisory coverage across departments/programs to maintain continuity of services and operations.
  • Provide collaboration with Quality Assurance and Compliance Team Members to ensure documentation compliance and respond to identified risk areas.
  • Work with other Department supervisors/managers to increase clear communication and mutual support between programs
  • Monitor and assure adherence of assigned programs to all governing bodies, contractual requirements, and internal policies/procedures.
  • Monitor care records to assure that required treatment documentation is included and meets agency and professional standards
  • Monitor and review all agency protocols and practices adapt quickly to program-specific workflows and documentation expectations when covering.
  • Assist Clinicians in developing treatment plans which ensure quality services and are sensitive to cultural issues.
  • Provide crisis intervention as required.
  • Remain on call for clinical emergencies per assigned rotation/coverage expectations.
  • Complete start-of-coverage and end-of-coverage handoffs with the primary supervisor/manager, including a brief summary of urgent items, risks, and follow-up needs.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
