Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Day Shift Lead to manage CT and Nuclear Medicine operations in Mishawaka, IN. You will direct daily imaging services, lead staff, ensure safety, and drive process improvements within a mission-driven health system.

The role requires ARRT CT and NM certifications, leadership experience, and strong communication skills. You will participate in strategic planning and professional development, with opportunities to advance imaging excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Ultrasound, or related healthcare imaging program.
• Licensure & Certifications: ARRT RT(R)(CT), ARRT RT(N), or NMTCB (CNMT); BLS preferred.
• Experience in CT/Nuclear Medicine or advanced imaging; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of CT and Nuclear Medicine ensuring safe, efficient patient care.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards compliance.
• Monitor productivity, quality metrics, workflow, and financial performance.
• Manage departmental resources, budgeting, equipment, and documentation accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and leadership to drive excellence and growth.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, strategic planning, and committees.
• Some call responsibility is required.

What We're Looking For

• Education Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Ultrasound, or related healthcare imaging program. Additional leadership, management, or healthcare administration education is a plus.
• Licensure & Certifications Required: ARRT RT(R)(CT), ARRT RT(N), or NMTCB (CNMT) Current BLS Certification Preferred: Advanced modality certifications
• Previous supervisory or leadership training
• Experience Experience in CT, Nuclear Medicine, or advanced imaging services. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare operations, process improvement, staffing, and quality management. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare information systems. Experience with imaging workflow and department operations.
