Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on precision and patient care. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and a commitment to quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a completed accredited NM/RT program, an Indiana license or the ability to obtain within 30 days of NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, and at least 1 year of clinical NM

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Indiana Nuclear Medicine License (ISDH) OR ability to obtain within 30 days of NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification.
• BLS certification (AHA required).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and isotopes safely and accurately.
• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging and procedures.
• Position patients for optimal imaging; ensure comfort and safety.
• Conduct quality control and maintain compliance standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support clinical decisions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and department records.

What You’ll Do

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in patient diagnosis and treatment by performing both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
