Job summary

Sycamores is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide hands-on coaching and supervision to staff while ensuring adherence to departmental policies and the agency’s treatment philosophy. The role involves administrative and clinical supervision (individual and group) and potential direct service tasks as needed in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited or state approved program that meets criteria for licensing as a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, or clinical psychologist.
• Must be licensed and eligible to provide clinical supervision to California Board standards (i.e., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Ph. D or PsyD).
• Post licensure with related supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of psychodynamics, patterns of growth and development, and proficiency and experience in diagnosis utilizing current edition of DSM.
• This role may require regular and flexible travel between various sites; driving is an essential function; personal vehicle and valid insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision (individual and group) to other clinical staff.
• Perform direct service tasks according to departmental needs as assigned.
• Offer hands-on coaching direction and guidance to supervisees within the department.
• Attend DMH LPS Certification training as required and maintain competency.
• Lead implementation of departmental practices aligned with agency policies and treatment philosophy.
