Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee behavioral health, SUD, and co-occurring programming. Under the Clinical Director, you will supervise staff pursuing licensure, ensure regulatory compliance, and support crisis consultation and quality oversight.

Responsibilities include supervising SUD counselors, reviewing assessments, and maintaining high standards of documentation and service delivery across teams. Licensure and ongoing supervision are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field or related area.
• Active California license (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/psychologist) or equivalent.
• Minimum two years post-licensure clinical experience with supervision.
• Experience supervising counselors, interns, or staff in behavioral health.
• Familiarity with Medi-Cal, DMC-ODS, SAPC, CalAIM or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group supervision for SUD counselors and clinical staff.
• Review treatment planning, client engagement, and documentation for quality and compliance.
• Lead case conferences, caseload reviews, and staff coaching.
• Provide crisis consultation and on-call support as needed.
• Ensure documentation quality, clinical accuracy, and audit readiness.
• Support day-to-day clinical operations and staff scheduling.
