Qualifications

  • Three years of experience working with youth, particularly youth experiencing mental health and/or substance use needs.
  • At least one year of clinical, supervisory, or administrative experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with staff, leadership, families, funders, and community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical team by providing supervision, direction, coaching, and support to Clinicians, the MST Supervisor, interns/field students, and Youth Coordinator.
  • Provide weekly individual supervision and facilitate clinical staffing and consultation meetings.
  • Oversee clinical assessments, intakes, treatment planning, interventions, and ongoing treatment progress for youth.
  • Ensure services are delivered with fidelity to the Integrated Treatment Model and Multi-Systemic Therapy.
  • Review and approve care plans, treatment plans, safety protocols, and suicide protocols.

What You’ll Do

As the Clinical Supervisor, you will provideclinicalleadership and oversight for the Bakari Center and Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST)programs. You will work closely with the Program Director, AssistantProgram Director, and management team to ensure youth receive high-quality,consistent, and therapeutic services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadthe clinical teamby providing supervision, direction, coaching,and support to Clinicians, the MST Supervisor, interns/field students, andthe Youth Coordinator.
  • Provideweekly individual supervisionand facilitate clinical staffingand consultation meetings.
  • Overseeclinical assessments, intakes, treatment planning, interventions, andongoing treatment progressfor youth.
  • Ensuretreatment services are delivered with fidelity to theIntegratedTreatment Model and Multi-Systemic Therapy.
  • Helpcreate a therapeutic milieu by modeling positive interactions andsupporting staff in their work with youth.
  • Reviewand approve care plans, treatment plans, safety protocols, Plan for ExtraHelp protocols, and suicide protocolsto ensure youth needs andsafety are addressed.
  • Monitorclinical documentation, treatment progress, weekly summaries, and dosageinformation.
  • Provideclinical coverage when needed, including individual sessions, groups, andbehavioral support.
  • Facilitateor supportMaking Proud Choices and Healthy Youth Grant groupsandcollaborate with QA/QI staff to meet grant requirements.
  • Co-facilitateparent education groups and actively engage families in treatment andprogramming.
  • Createclinician schedules and monitor the program calendar to ensure appropriatestaffing and treatment coverage.
  • Supportstaff performance and developmentthrough evaluations, coaching,training, corrective action, and professional development opportunities.
  • Participatein interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training clinical and programstaff.
  • Workwith leadership to address personnel, staffing, and operational needs.
  • Monitoryouth records and clinical documentation to ensure compliancewith DCF 52, CARF, DHS, contractual, and organizational requirements.
  • Partnerwith QA/QI and leadership to identify opportunities for improvement andmaintain fidelity to clinical programming.
  • Ensureserious incidents and restraint incidents are properly documented,reviewed, debriefed, and reported within required timeframes.
  • Ensurestaff understand and follow applicableDCF, DHS, confidentiality,patient-rights, and youth-protection requirements.
  • CollaboratewithMilwaukee County Children, Youth and Family Services, MSTServices, Milwaukee Child Protective Services, Wraparound Milwaukee, andother community partners.
  • Attendcommittee, contractual, consultation, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Participatein program development and initiatives that improve outcomes for youth andfamilies.
  • Participatein theon-call rotationand provide clinical consultationand leadership support when needed.
  • Helpbuild and maintain apositive, supportive, inclusive, andaccountable culturefor youth, families, and staff.
  • Protectclient confidentiality and consistently follow WCS policies, procedures,and professional standards.
