Position Summary
The Clinical Supervisor’s role is to oversee and manage all clinical treatment aspects of the 32 bed CSS (Clinical Stabilization Services) Program in compliance with the requirements of the Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Abuse Services licensing standards. The Clinical Supervisor oversees the Clinical Operations of the CSS Program. He or she ensures effective implementation of Evidence-Based Practices and Trauma-Informed approach; promotes cultural competency; facilitates Multi-Disciplinary team meetings; reviews referrals; oversees admissions and discharges; provides individual and group training, education, and supervision to direct service staff; oversees client service delivery from referrals to aftercare planning; develops staff schedules; performs regular file reviews; provides clinical consultation and individual and group services as needed. The Clinical Supervisor develops, implements, and trains on clinical policies and procedures and works with the Program Director to track service utilization. This staff member also supervises the extension request process and the clinical review process as required by insurance companies. He or she supervises the lead counselor in their role as point person for the coordination of MAT services. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with the Director of Programs to ensure MOUs with other agencies and providers. The program is located on the Tewksbury Hospital campus. Bilingual (Spanish and English) is required.
Education And Experience
