Job summary

Cardinal McCloskey Community Services in New York is seeking a Clinical Supervisor of Behavioral Health to lead clinical teams serving children, adults and families. The role focuses on supervision, program quality and regulatory compliance across mental health services.

Hybrid work arrangement: four days in person, with ongoing collaboration with the Clinic Director and Administrative Director to align with program goals. Spanish bilingual skills are preferred to support diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field and LCSW required.
• Minimum three years in a clinic serving children/adolescents and families.
• At least one year in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Understanding OMH, Child Welfare and Education systems and cross-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of individual and family therapy and crisis intervention.
• Supervise clinicians and interns; promote professional growth and clinical excellence.
• Ensure services meet OMH regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of individual and family therapy, as well as crisis intervention services.
• Ensure clinical services meet the highest standards of care and comply with Office of Mental Health (OMH) regulations.
• Provide direct supervision to clinicians and interns, fostering professional growth and excellence in clinical practice.
• Participate in bi-weekly supervision with the Clinic Director and Administrative Director to support alignment with program goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care.

Requirements:

• Master's level clinician with a degree in social work, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
• Minimum three years' experience in a clinic serving children/adolescents and families and one year as a supervisor.
• Demonstrated understanding of the interrelated functions of Child Welfare, the Office of Mental Health (OMH), and the Education system, and how these systems collaboratively impact child and family services
• Office of Mental Health experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
