Job summary

Alma Family Services in Monterey Park, CA seeks a licensed LCSW or MFT supervisor with 2+ years post-licensure to oversee clinical staff and interns. Job description

Some responsibilities include, but not limited to, provide clinical supervision to registered ACSW and AMFT Interns. Provide individual and group supervision and weekly consultation. Provide assistance and guidance to clinical staff to ensure that clients are receiving high quality care and services. Ensure quality of service, integrity, and compliance with funding agencies. Advance the competencies of staff in assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and service delivery. Educate and expand staff’s knowledge of legal obligations and ethical responsibilities. Ensure employees are familiar with BBS and state regulations and guidelines. Complete documentation of supervision. Assist in managing crisis interventions. Provide supervisor to Child Family Specialist. Audit and review charts in accordance with stated objectives, DMH and other guidelines set forth by funding and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications: Current and active LCSW or MFT with 2 years post licensure experience. Must have completed 15 hours of Clinical Supervision Training. Must be knowledgeable and competent in DMH regulations and documentation and the DSM V. Able to work with a diverse population and environment. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Ability to think independently, creatively and effectively in critical situations. Previous experience in intensive field-based program highly preferred. Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Outlook and knowledgeable in Internet search. Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary. Must have reliable transportation, a valid CA Driver’s License, proof of automotive liability insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
