Job summary

SCADD, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight for services in Southeastern Connecticut. You will supervise clinicians and recovery staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented care.

The role emphasizes staff orientation, credentialed supervision, and strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to maintain quality care and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in the human services field required.
  • Independent licensure required: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical/counseling experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands‑on clinical supervision and leadership to ensure treatment services are delivered with excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Orient and train new staff to program expectations and clinical approaches.
  • Review and approve clinical documentation in a timely manner (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries).
  • Facilitate weekly multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Identify client needs and refer to appropriate services and community resources.

Clinical Supervisor – Southeastern Connecticut | Lebanon Pines | $3,500 sign‑on bonus

We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight, operationalize services, and ensure the quality of treatment delivered by our clinical and recovery staff.

What You’ll Do

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will provide hands‑on clinical supervision and leadership, ensuring that treatment services are delivered with excellence, compassion, and full regulatory compliance. You will be both a clinical resource and a people‑centered leader — guiding staff, supporting clients, and upholding SCADD’s commitment to trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Directly supervise clinicians and/or recovery staff conducting therapeutic program activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Orient and train new staff to program and clinical expectations, clinical approaches, and new initiatives
  • Assist in orienting new staff to the electronic health record
  • Review and approve all clinical documentation in a timely manner, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other client‑related documents
  • Assist in facilitating weekly multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Support identification of client needs that cannot be met at the current level of care and collaborate on referrals to available support systems and community resources
  • Ensure safety guidelines are followed, as well as compliance with state and local health, safety, and fire codes
  • Perform direct care as needed to meet contractual obligations and budgetary performance expectations
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of duties
What You’ll Need
  • Master’s degree in the human services field required
  • Independent licensure required: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
