Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead the 8W Med Specialty Unit during night shifts. The role combines administrative oversight with hands-on nursing as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

The supervisor collaborates with the unit Director, mentors staff, and coordinates training and onboarding while maintaining efficient unit operations and safety standards.

Competenze

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

FACILITY / UNIT TRAINING

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care.
• Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required 90 days after hire and maintained.
• Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.75 to $55.70. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
