Job summary

Florence Crittenton Family Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership across our Youth Maternity Home, Recovery Home, and Transitional Living Programs. The role focuses on clinical oversight, staff supervision, and program quality to ensure trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for youth and families in Helena, MT.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
  • Current independent clinical licensure in Montana as an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent.
  • Three+ years post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
  • Two+ years supervisory or program management experience preferred.
  • Experience with adolescents, residential treatment, child welfare, or transitional living programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision, mentorship, and consultation to therapists, program managers, case managers, interns, and other clinical staff.
  • Provide clinical leadership to the Youth Maternity Home, Recovery Home, and Transitional Living Program Core Teams.
  • Ensure services meet agency policies, Medicaid requirements, licensing regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Oversee assessments, treatment plans, clinical documentation, discharge planning, and other clinical records.
  • Provide guidance related to crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and clinical decision-making.
  • Lead multidisciplinary collaboration to support coordinated treatment planning, continuity of care, and positive client outcomes.
  • Monitor program operations, clinical outcomes, service quality, and client needs while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned clinical staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Build effective relationships with referral sources, community providers, schools, courts, child welfare agencies, healthcare providers, and other partners.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, licensing reviews, accreditation activities, strategic planning, and agency leadership efforts.

What You Will Bring:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Current independent clinical licensure in Montana as an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent qualifying discipline.
  • Three or more years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
  • Two or more years of supervisory, leadership, or program management experience preferred.
  • Experience working with adolescents, young adults, residential treatment, child welfare populations, or transitional living programs preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, attachment theory, adolescent development, family systems, and strengths-based practice.
  • Strong clinical leadership, communication, conflict resolution, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to urgent or crisis situations.
  • Commitment to teamwork and the ability to build trusted relationships with staff, clients, and community partners.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet required background and health screening requirements.
