Job summary

Recovery Monitoring Solutions in Englewood, CO is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee 2–5 unlicensed therapists, review their documentation, and provide weekly supervision.

This is a part-time role with the option to grow to full-time, offering a hybrid schedule with most work remote and some in-office hours.

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join our behavioral health team specializing in substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health treatment with mostly justice involved clients. This position will begin part-time with the option to build up to full-time if desired. The supervisor will be responsible for providing supervision to around two to five unlicensed therapists and will also sign off on documentation for those therapists. Ideally, the candidate would also be available for occasional group coverage. The ideal candidate will have experience working with justice involved clients, experience with addiction treatment, an understanding of trauma-informed care, supervision experience, and either be a LPC or LCSW and additional licensure with LAC is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly supervision for one hour with each therapist supervised as well as clinical oversight. Providing support around clinical decision-making, provision of quality therapeutic services, professional development, and compliance with Thrivur policies.
• Review and sign off on all documentation for therapists supervised, including group notes, individual therapy notes, comprehensive assessments used for court, treatment plans, and monthly reports. Reviewing for quality and compliance with Thrivur processes as well as Medicaid, BHA, and other requirements.
• Group coverage when able to when therapists are out.
• Collaborate with program leadership and other disciplines to coordinate client care and resolve clinical or operational concerns.
• Identify staff training needs and assist with development or delivery of clinical trainings.
• Promote consistent use of evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Ensure services comply with applicable ethical standards, licensing requirements, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and provide consultation regarding high-risk or high-acuity clients.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative, and psychologically safe environment for the clinical team.

QualificationsEducation & Licensure:

Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.

Must possess valid, unrestricted Colorado clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or related), and LAC is also preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of addiction models, relapse prevention, and harm reduction approaches.
• Familiarity with working with justice involved clients.
• Experience providing clinical supervision to licensed or pre-licensed therapists.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
• Experience working with complex mental health needs, crisis situations, and risk assessment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback, coaching, and performance support.
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation, compliance, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and ethical decision-making.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Culturally competent with a commitment to equitable care across diverse populations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
