Job summary

Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified behavioral health professional to support counselors and peers, approve treatment plans and ensure documentation compliance with Joint Commission standards and Delaware licensure.

The role involves regular collaboration with medical staff and daily interaction with the Program Manager. The candidate will handle case consultations, maintain client records, and participate in meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
• 2 years of experience in the Substance Abuse Field and/or Mental Health.
• CADC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review Counselor and Peer caseloads.
• Conduct staff orientation, training and development.
• Approval of Treatment Plans, Progress Notes and Discharges.
• Confer with all appropriate medical staff members.
• Confer with Program Manager daily.
• Participate in case consultations.
• Maintain client records and ensure electronic records meet Joint Commission and Delaware licensure standards and CSAT criteria.
• Ensure established agency procedures are followed.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other office duties.
• May be required to have a small caseload based on census.

Job Description

What You'll Do At Brandywine Counseling

• Review Counselor and Peer caseloads.


• Conduct and promote staff orientation, training and development.


• Approval of Treatment Plans, Progress Notes and Discharges.


• Confers with all appropriate medical staff members.


• Confer with Program Manager daily.


• Participate in case consultations.


• Maintain appropriate client records and make sure the electronic records are in accordance with the Joint Commission and meets Delaware licensure standards and CSAT criteria.

Requirements

Qualifications for this position are:

• REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field


• REQUIRED: 2-year experience in the Substance Abuse Field and/or Mental Health

Pay

• Starting at $27/hour


• Commensurate with experience and education

Schedule

• Monday - Friday


• 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
