Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
• 2-year experience in the Substance Abuse Field and/or Mental Health.
• Knowledge of assessment and counseling/therapy principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to serve as a positive and professional role model.
• May require crisis intervention to emergency situations.

Conduct and promote staff orientation, training and development.

Confers with all appropriate medical staff members.

Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other office related duties.

Considerable knowledge of population being served and available resources

May require crisis intervention to emergency situations

Ability to serve as a positive and professional role model
