The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to counseling staff, provides counseling services to both youth and adult clients, carries out agency policies, remains professionally current, and represents the agency to the community.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Models and encourages direct, professional communication among staff members, and facilitates development of a positive staff support network delivering new information around agency expectations and/or changes to LCSNW policy is understood and implemented successfully.
  • Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the population of clients served.
  • Functions in accordance with the LCSNW personnel and administrative policies and procedures and OARs and adheres to the ethical standards of a professional association.
  • Provides and assists clinical director in developing staff training, in services, seminars and other educational opportunities to ensure continued competence in skill areas, and attends required training related to program, supervision, and coaching.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of required forms and oversight systems requiring a supervisor’s approval, such as timesheets, supervision logs, intervention documentation, and client outcome measures.
  • Provides role and team coaching to interns and staff, helping to further develop and highlight individual and group’s proficiency, including supporting them documentation requirements on the electronic health record to reflect client’s progress and needs.
HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:
  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, clinical social work, or related field
  • Two years of advanced postgraduate training in at least one theoretical/practical treatment approach and experience in outpatient mental health counseling, or inpatient levels of care, and experience in client chart maintenance
  • LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the State of Oregon, Clinical Supervision Certification, and QMHParerequiredupon start.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self‑regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
  • Adheres to and applies established operational processes in a timely, appropriate way
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end‑user experiences throughout the service lifecycle
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
  • Moves equipment/materials weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Travels between worksites frequently
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community‑based settings, institutions of higher education and faith‑based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job‑relevant clearances as required by the State or program
