Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Nebraska license.
• Requires knowledge of technical nursing procedures.
• Must be CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical nursing care through interviews, assessments and vital signs.
• Administers medications topically, orally, injection or intravenous as ordered by the physician.
• Administers treatments within scope of practice as ordered by the physician.
• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures and prepares patients for procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment and monitors equipment.
• Maintains appropriate records, assists with coding and patient charges.
• Provides education to patients/families and assists with prescriptions.
• Cooperates with other personnel to maintain good relations and attends required meetings.
