Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Coordinates the flow of patients, phone calls, lab work, and nurse visits to facilitate quality patient care and customer service goals.
• Keeps the exam rooms clean, disinfected and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Schedules follow-up procedures/appointments and specialty appointments.
• Explains tests and preparation as needed for adequate patient education.
