Job summary

Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services in Chiloquin, OR seeks a TEMPORARY CLINICAL STAFF PHARMACIST to deliver high-quality pharmacy services and patient education. You will collaborate with primary care teams, dispense medications accurately, and contribute to formulary management and patient care programs.

The role requires an active pharmacist license (Oregon within 90 days), PGY-1 or 2+ years experience, and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings.

Qualifications

• Current active pharmacist license; Oregon licensure within 90 days.
• PGY-1 residency training or 2 years of applicable experience.
• Must not be excluded from Federal health care programs.
• Flexible schedule with possible evenings.
• BLS certification within 180 days of hire.
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption.
• Annual TB skin testing.
• Must be a mandatory reporter per tribal policy.
• Knowledge of tribal culture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality pharmacy services and patient education.
• Accurately compound and dispense medications per standards and laws.
• Consult with prescribers to ensure appropriate drug therapy.
• Manage inventory and maintain controlled substance records.
• Develop patient care programs and QA activities.
• Supervise ancillary staff and support personnel.
