Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Pharmacist I for a full-time, first-shift position in the Hospital Pharmacy. The role includes drug information, antimicrobial and opioid stewardship, patient counseling, and clinical services across inpatient units.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license, 1–3 years’ related experience or ASHP residency, and ACLS within six months if required. Competitive benefits and a $15,000 sign-on are offered.

These services include, but are not limited to verification of medication orders, drug distribution, sterile product preparation, hazardous drug preparation, and utilization of automated dispensing cabinets.**Description:*** Serves as a drug information expert and resource regarding medication management.* Provides comprehensive decentralized or pharmacy clinical services including, but not limited to, anticoagulation management/monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, and nutritional support services.* Participates in antimicrobial stewardship and opioid stewardship.* Provides medication counseling to patients.* Works with inter-professional patient care teams to help patients with transitions to care, including=but not limited to helping prepare patients for discharge.* Serves as an active member of the inter-professional team on patient care units. Participates in unitbased huddles and activities if available.
