Job summary

Park Grove Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in the United States is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assume part- and/or full-time clinical responsibilities in an assigned facility. This professional role focuses on evaluation of patients and direct patient care, with additional administrative duties as assigned.

You will screen and evaluate residents, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise therapy staff, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competence in therapy evaluation principles and materials/equipment.
• Knowledge of state and federal accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat facility patients/residents needing SLP services.
• Review medical information and plan services based on physician orders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate staff and supervise therapy assistants as assigned.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and family conferences as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate billing records daily.
• Adhere to facility policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct staff training and in-services as needed.
• Ensure safe patient transfers and documentation.
