Job summary

Qualifications

• Credentialed graduate with a master’s degree in speech language pathology and CCC or CFY.
• Licensed to practice in the state where employed.
• Experience in speech pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient records to determine treatment required.
• Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluations.
• Confer with physicians and other health practitioners to integrate care.
• Record treatment, response and progress.
• Supervise speech therapy aides and supervise training for students.
• Diagnose and evaluate speech and language competencies and swallowing.
• Direct and conduct treatment programs to restore communication skills.
• Maintain documentation for third-party reimbursement.
• Participate in department meetings and policy development.
