Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides Speech Therapy services to patients and initiates referrals when appropriate.
• Conducts screenings of patients at regular intervals for intervention needs.
• Evaluates patients to obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to patients, family and team members.
• Develops treatment plans with goals and methods to achieve them.
• Coordinates treatment plan with patient, family and other team members.
• Monitors response to intervention and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Recommends equipment for communication and instructs on use of devices.
• Documents results of assessments and treatment; supervises students/volunteers as required.
