Job summary

The Klondike Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and direct patient care in a facility setting. This professional role may be part- or full-time with duties including assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with the rehab team.

You will conduct screenings, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise therapy staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards while maintaining patient confidentiality and quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Bachelors and/or Masters).
• Current state license to practice.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in therapy evaluation principles and treatment techniques.
• Knowledge of state and federal accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat facility patients/residents needing SLP services.
• Review medical information and conduct screenings prior to evaluations.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans per physician orders.
• Supervise and provide education to therapy staff.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and family meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain patient privacy and accurate billing information.
