Qualifications

• 0–3 years of work experience in speech pathology is required.
• Inpatient and/or outpatient therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with assessment and treatment planning for communication and swallowing disorders is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, treat and follow up clients in inpatient and/or outpatient therapy.
• Maintain clinical records and monitor patient progress.
• Counsel clients, families and others in understanding and assisting in treatment.
• Coordinate scheduling, billing, and caseload coverage as assigned.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and safety standards.
• Mentor colleagues in developing clinical skills and decision making.
